    Dear seaman's,

    I have an exam with grain cargo calculations for a vessel and I need to calculate RDS residual dynamic stability on 3 different ways by using USA, Canada and Australian method, and I can not find examples of solved tasks, just forms how to do it, but online forms are not very clear because some countries use LCF for distance from AP, and some from Midships. And also some countries use negative trim to be ship with deeper draught on stern, and negative trim deeper draught on bow.

    This is the data given in the exam:
    Ship Spar scorpio, SG of cargo = 0,8155 t/m3 (it could be SF or SG).
    KG = (keel to c. o. gravity) 10,4 m
    XG = (from AP to c. o. gravity) 94,47 m
    FSC = 0,03 m (wich makes KG corrected = KG + FSC = 10,4 + 0,03 = 10,43m)

    total Displacement = 64755 t

    So, how do I calculate RDS by using 3 different methods with given data for vessel?
    One is FAB area under GZ curve, above heeling lever moments curve, one is using factor C correction, and I am lost.
