1. Does some lube oil come out from gudgeon pin onto the liner in 4 stroke engine?
2. how is the lube oil flow through connecting rod in 2 stroke engine? Whether is it from crankpin to crosshead or crosshead to crankpin?

1. Not a significant amount from gudgeon pin. The liner is lubricated either by splash lubrication (due to crankshaft movement) or by forced lubrication using an attach pump injecting oilusing nozzle
2. crosshead and guides to the bottom end or crankpin

Hello,

four-stroke engines are lubricated by sump tank oil. The momentum of the rotating crankshaft splashes oil from the crankcase to engine components such as the cam lobes, pins and cylinder walls. Lubrication flow from crosshead to crankpin.
