During pre loading key meetings for oil tankers usually is stayed ship/shore stop.
my question is:
If the ship has to loat to maximum draft than is a clear ship stop.
if the terminal cannot give what the ship request is a clear shore stop.
BUT if the terminal can give more than ship requests (let's say voyage orders state as close but no more than 100 000 bbls) who should be recorded as stoping?
i am asking because it can be a commercial claim if i put ship stop and still i end up with 100 bbls short than maximum cargo orders.
