myothiha I doubt. Engine department work is not allowed as heat exposure with one kidney is not good for health. Just to be sure, please approach a Maritime authority approved doctor.

I don’t think so as with 1 kidney only, it’ll be considered dangerous for you to work in marine engineering. But you should consult a doctor first to be sure.
