Hello everybody, I am seriously considering a career in the merchant navy, aiming for a deck officer. I have always loved the ships, the sea and maritime history. I am just curious about the free time that a deck officer gets, during a typical working day and throughout the year. Do seafarers get more free time than other professions, on avaradge?
