You will not be eligible for bridge lookout positions i.e deck officers and crew which are involved in bridge duties. There are 3 levels of colorblindness test under CIE Colour vision standards. you need to qualify any one of them for working on ship.

You will be tested for - Ishihara test, lantern test or Farnsworth D15 test. These test will reveal in which categorical standard you are qualifying- CIE colour vision standard 1, 2 or 3.
